    Description
    The Partner Activations Manager is responsible to develop strong Sales growth strategies, deliver a phenomenal customer experience and expanded adoption of the Samsung ecosystem across the MENA Region. As the Partner Activations Manager, you will focus on not just crafting and implementing the strategic partner plans for growing our Operator & Organised Retail Channel footprint and overall sales, but also to collaborate and develop deep, strategic relationships with our key channel partners. You are someone who is outcomes-focused, has phenomenal drive and tenacity, proven leadership skills and deep experience in senior stakeholder management.

    Role and Responsibilities

  • Be accountable for overall growth and performance, and guide local Account/Marketing Managers to hold regular performance and planning reviews. Ensure dedication to, and solid execution of, strategic marketing & promotion plans and corresponding sales actions. Candidate Is able to achieve advocacy for Channel Sales and Partner priorities through effective cross-functional stakeholder relationship management and influence.
  • Develop & execute Partner Marketing Programs for the organization, comprising of Collaborative Programs, Marketing & Promotional Calendars, Co-Investment Optimization, Affordability & Promotional schemes, Trade-in programs, hardware and service bundles, TCO optimization and operator Tariff positioning.
  • Support with in-depth analytics towards the development & recommendations of Channel Growth Programs & sharing of Global Best Practice documents & frameworks to help local teams learn & adopt into their own markets
  • Manage long/short term projects of data collection, analysis, and reporting from the markets to maintain track sales/growth trends in Operator Channel business
  • Support local country teams in building concrete localized Joint Business Plans with elements not limited to Account Promotional Planning, Co-Marketing metrics assessment, , Competition benchmarking, Marketing execution audits, Co-investments, Programs & Data sharing.
  • Collaborate cross functionally with highly diversified teams from HQ & local subsidiaries with different seniority levels by improving commercial models, partner marketing activations and develop sales opportunities under fixed deadlines with minimum supervision.
  • Skills and Qualifications

    Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience successfully developing Channel growth strategies with teams and partners - delivering short-term goals, while building sustainable value for partners and demand for the future.
  • Experience at the executive level, strong senior stakeholder management and ability to connect, influence and drive business objectives through relationships
  • Experience in consultative selling and developing channel growth strategies with partners
  • Creative problem-solver with drive, to see through the completion of tasks, and the ability to work in a dynamic environment, anticipate issues & work with ambiguity
  • Experienced in developing Commercial & Marketing framework modelling, Co-Investment optimisation, Product & Tariff positioning, Affordability Programs, etc.
  • Strong Marketing & Commercial acumen, confident analytical skills and the ability to problem solve at pace.
  • Proven track record in the achievement of stretch growth targets.
  • A great team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment with open dialogue and debate.
  • Can communicate effectively both in group settings and on one-one basis. Must be able to convey results to senior business leaders; present complex results in a clear, concise, and enticing manner that stimulate action and also have excellent writing skills for reporting
  • Proven potential to become a people manager leading a team of varied experience
  • Exceptional Presentation skills, and numeric & analytical skills - using PowerPoint, MS Office & Analytical tools
  • 8-10 years' experience as Global/Regional Partner Marketing/Activations Management in Mobile, Operator, large Tech corporations and/or Management Consultancy
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent education
