Accurately draw isometric pipe fabrication spools

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Familiarity with client project scope and specifications.
Draw shop pipe fabrication spools from client drawings utilizing AutoCAD.
Do calculations necessary to support assigned work.
Perform drafting to accepted company, client, and industry standards.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education:
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, AutoCAD, Navisworks.

Experience:
3-5 year of drafting experience in Piping Engineering

Computer Skills:
AutoCAD, Outlook, Excel, and Word. AutoSpool a plus.

Other Requirements:

Familiar with various metallurgies.
Have a general understanding of pipe fabrication techniques.
Have a basic understanding of nondestructive examination methods, heat treatments, paint, and welding procedures.
Ability to work extended work schedules.
Good mathematical skills including geometry, and trigonometry.
Detail oriented.
