Assistant/Associate Professor in FinanceThe College of Business Administration (CBA) at Ajman University, has an opening for the position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Finance, starting in Fall 2023.The selected candidate will have primary teaching and research interests in Finance and will be expected to teach in graduate and undergraduate programs.

The selected candidate will also be expected to actively engage with the business community. The College of Business Administration is accredited by AACSB.


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
Ph.
D. in Finance or a related field obtained from an internationally reputable university, preferably accredited by AACSBThree or more years of teaching experience in an internationally reputable university, preferably accredited by AACSBDemonstrable record of excellence in teaching and curriculum developmentOutstanding record of research and peer-reviewed publications in top journals (SCOPUS, ABDC, ABS)Record of collaborative and interdisciplinary research would be an advantageDemonstrable record of supervising student projects and dissertationsExcellent record in professional and community service


ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Design, deliver and assess graduate and undergraduate courses in FinanceEngage in innovative and technology-based approaches to teaching and learningProvide academic advising services to studentsConduct high quality research and publish research outcomes in reputable journals and conferencesParticipate in committee and other service tasks at the department, college and/or university levels as assignedActively engage in promoting the growth and visibility of Ajman UniversityProvide consultancy and other industry-facing services to Ajman University partners and members of the business communityActively seek out methods, procedures and resources to best achieve course and lesson objectivesPerform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
