Description
Assist Executive Housekeeper with day-to-day operations. Provide training, coaching and counseling to all Housekeeping associates.

  • In the absence of the Executive Housekeeper, to take full responsibility for the operation.
  • The Assistant Executive Housekeeper will be required to conduct their duties in a courteous, safe and efficient manner, in accordance with the hotel's policies and procedures, ensuring that a high level of service is maintained.

Essential Functions:

  • Able to develop and maintain excellent credibility with coworkers and subordinates.
  • Demonstrate complete consistency between words and actions, in all aspects of behavior.
  • Effectively identify & anticipate guest / customer needs.
  • Handle challenging situations with guests diplomatically.
  • Exceeding customer expectations regarding both in quality and service.
  • Positively influence coworkers to accept & execute changes immediately and effectively.
  • Regularly keep manager uptodate on relevant activities
  • Maintain an organized system to ensure that processes are getting completed on time.
  • To properly conduct a inventory for all needed departments.

Supportive Functions:


1. Profit and Loss

  • Manage administrative and operational duties.
  • Manage operating expenses to minimize costs while providing excellent guest services.
  • Assist the Exec. Housekeeper in the daily maintenance of the room inventory status to achieve optimal levels of revenues while maintaining high levels of guest expectations.
  • Have control over the elements that determine profit and loss.

2. Guest Satisfaction

  • Resolve and follow up on customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality.
  • Ensure all Housekeeping quality standards are complied with and that policies and procedures are consistently applied.
  • Coordinate activities with other hotel departments in order to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.

3. Associate Satisfaction

  • Ensure the timely completion of performance appraisals.
  • Give direction and be responsible for the implementation of plans.
  • Monitor plans' effectiveness and recommend changes in response to the marketplace, including setting targets, planning and scheduling work and performance indicators that are typical productivity and efficiency measures.

4. Quality Assurance

  • Conduct inspections of guest rooms / VIP rooms / back of the house areas and provide feedback to room attendants and PA.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the hotel to ensure adherence to cleanliness and maintenance standards.
  • Responsible for maintaining quality of product and ensuring consistency in its delivery and standards.
  • Coordinate department's activities with other departments to facilitate increased levels of communication and guest satisfaction.
  • Bear ultimate responsibility for monitoring the consumption and order replacement of guest and cleaning supplies
  • Assist to oversee divisional matters as they relate to federal, state and local employment and civil rights laws.
  • Additional duties as necessary and assigned by Executive Housekeeper and EAM.

Training & Development

  • To deliver trainings as planned in a professional manner to meet with the objectives.

Self Management

  • Comply with hotel rules and regulations and provisions contained in the employment handbook.
  • Comply with timekeeping and attendance policies.
  • Actively participate in training and development programs and maximize opportunities for self development.

General

  • Comply with the company corporate code of conduct at all times.
  • Familiarize yourself with the company vision and values which link to our model of desired behaviors that we expect all employees to display.
  • Perform other tasks at the level of the role as directed by your line manager in pursuit of the achievement of business goals.
  • Have the desire and ability to improve your knowledge and abilities through ongoing training.
  • Ability to work as part of a diverse team with colleagues from different viewpoints, cultures and countries.

Salary:
AED4, AED6,500.00 per month


Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
