Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and lead a team of technicians engaged in the maintenance and repair of heavy machinery and equipment.
  • Plan and prioritize repair and maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Coordinate with operations and engineering teams to understand equipment requirements and maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct regular inspections and evaluations of equipment to identify issues and develop repair strategies.
  • Oversee the repair and maintenance of conveyors, crushers, screens, washers, and other earthmoving equipment.
  • Provide technical guidance to the team, troubleshooting complex repair issues, and ensuring quality workmanship.
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend preventive maintenance measures to enhance longevity and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment maintenance, repairs, and related documentation.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for the repair team.
  • Evaluate the team's performance, provide feedback, and identify training needs to enhance skills and productivity.

Requirements:


  • 510 years of local UAE experience as a Repair & Maintenance Supervisor in a heavy equipment repair workshop or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of heavy machinery repair and maintenance, including conveyors, crushers, screens, washers, and earthmoving equipment.
  • Proven experience in equipment troubleshooting and problemsolving.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to optimize repair schedules and resources.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage maintenance schedules.
  • Willingness to relocate to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • Technical diploma or relevant certification in heavy equipment repair or maintenance is preferred.
