    Made in the UAE, eshara is established to build a nationally rooted capability.

    As the country expands its space ambitions, the design and control of satellite communication (satcom) terminals supporting land, naval, and airborne operations have largely remained externally responds by localizing the design and production of satcom terminals, working closely with partners to strengthen domestic expertise and capability.

    Guided by a clear purpose, eshara develops solutions locally and designs them to integrate seamlessly within broader national and regional ecosystems; supporting the development of a resilient national industrial base.

    Backed by Yas Holding Aviation, eshara operates with a long-term vision contributing to secure, future ready communications and supporting the UAE's national ambitionsAbout the roleAs the Head of Technology for eshara, you will set and execute the technology vision to deliver sovereign SATCOM terminals across land, naval, and airborne platforms.

    You will lead engineering, R&D, and technical delivery, with end‑to‑end accountability from product design through integration, testing, and acceptance, working closely with strategic partners and platform stakeholders.

    What you'll doOwn the technical strategy, architecture, and product roadmap for SATCOM terminals and localized subsystems.
    Lead cross‑disciplinary engineering delivery across RF/antenna, mechanical, and testing & integration—driving concept‑to‑production readiness and strong engineering governance.
    Lead partner integration and technology transfer execution, translating partner solutions into local capability and scalable delivery.
    Embed security, compliance, and export‑control aware engineering into the product lifecycle, ensuring solutions are deployable in sensitive operational contexts.
    Build and grow high‑performing engineering teams, including capability development pathways and mentorship to strengthen long‑term sovereign technical depth.
    What we're looking for15+ years in SATCOM/telecom/defense, including senior leadership roles.
    Proven ability to lead multi-discipline engineering from requirements through verification and validation.
    Demonstrated experience managing complex partner ecosystems and delivering multi-million-dollar programs.
    Experience with technology transfer / localization programs and building engineering organizations in growth-phase environments.
    Familiarity with export‑control considerations in defense or critical communications programs.
