- Welcome and greet guests with a friendly demeanour, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage reservation books and assist in seating arrangements with a keen eye on pacing for an optimal dining experience.
- Coordinate with the serving staff to ensure smooth communication between the front and back of the house.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the hostess stand and waiting areas.
- Handle guest inquiries, providing accurate information about the restaurant and its offerings.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a fine dining environment
- Exceptional interpersonal Skills and Communication skills
- Experience in Reservations and Phone Etiquette
- Customer Service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; additional language skills would be a plus
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Positive and welcoming attitude towards guests and team members
- Knowledge of the reservation system SeverRooms is a plus
- Prior experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry is a plus
