POSITION
HEAD OF SERVICE F&B

PURPOSE OF THE
POSITION
The Head Of Service manages all aspects of providing exceptional Food & Beverage experiences to the family and guests.

The Head Of Service is responsible for all service and dining areas, and all resources that aid in producing quality experiences and quality outcomes in the food and beverage department.

QUALIFICATIONS /CERTIFICATION /LICENSES

Certification from a recognised Butler School

Diploma or higher education in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Business Management or Psychology

Level - Food Hygiene & Safety (Supervisors)

Level - Allergy Awareness

Level - HACCP

Safe Chemical Handling

EXPERIENCE
5+ years' experience working as a butler at a senior level in a 5* establishment.

Experienced in working with VVIP clients with a passion for providing personalised luxury service

KEY SKILLS /KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge in all Arts of Service, particularly Arabic Meze

Advanced food /culinary knowledge - able to understand and explain menus and dishes, and prepare the dining area accordingly.

Knowledge in beverages - coffees, teas, juices, mocktails

Advanced pantry management knowledge.

Capable of building and maintaining inventories.

Great attention to detail and creativity

Exceptional organizing skills

Exceptional teamwork, communication and collaboration skills

Leadership capabilities - able to motivate, lead and upskill a team.

In depth knowledge of sanitation principles, cleanliness and hygiene

Adheres to and ensures team adheres to food safety policies, procedures and practices.

Advanced MS office skills - word, excel, outlook, ppt.

Report writing.
