Accounts Receivable Associate


Find your next role with Adecco We are currently recruiting for Accounts Receivable Associate for our Client into airport services, ground handling and cargo operations.

Purpose


Perform receivable activities and ensure timely billing and recovery of outstanding debts and accurate measurement of commercial credit extended to business customers of multiple entities while ensuring adherence to accounting standards.

Accountabilities

  • Generate and issue invoices to customers based on services provided.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of invoice details, including pricing, terms, and any applicable discounts and taxes.
  • Track and monitor accounts receivable balances.
  • Regularly prepare and review aging reports to identify overdue accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Record and process incoming payments from customers.
  • Contact customers to follow up on overdue payments and arrange payment.
  • Negotiate payment plans or settlements when necessary.
  • Maintain professional and positive communication with customers to address any concerns or disputes.
  • Reconcile discrepancies between the accounts receivable ledger and the general ledger.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues affecting the accuracy of customer accounts.
  • Provide financial information to management as needed.
  • Address customer inquiries related to invoices, payments, and account balances.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting principles, and relevant regulations.
  • Stay informed about changes in accounting standards and industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Commercial and Operations, to resolve customer issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate records of customer transactions and interactions.
Education & Experience

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in the Account receivable function including knowledge of computerized accounting system (SAP and MS Dynamics) and MS Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problemsolving and negotiation skills.
  • Time management and organizational skills.
