Description
Provides a pleasant drinking experience to customers.- Serves drinks while maintaining a clean and sanitary bar area.
- Demonstrates attention to details and presentation of each order.
- Prepares and maintains ingredients by following recipes.
- Adheres to proper alcohol handling, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintains appropriate dating, labeling, and rotation of all beverage items.
- Coordinates daily supply inventory for bar and submits orders to Bar Manager; assists with receipt of deliveries.
- Contributes to daily, holiday, and theme drink menus in collaboration with Bar Manager.
- Ensures smooth operation of bar services during absence of Bar Manager
- Completes cleaning according to daily and weekly schedules, including dishwashing as needed.
- Assists with welcoming & supporting new employees to their work area
- Listens to customer complaints and suggestions and addresses complaints to bar Manager to resolve it where needed.
- Participates in and/or contributes to programs, committees, or projects designed to improve quality of service and employee productivity.
Qualifications
- Ability to communicate and understand the predominant language(s) of the restaurant's trading area.
- Indepth knowledge of service, food and beverage, involving at least 2 years of experience in a similar position in F&B.
- Must have a basic knowledge of service procedures and functions
- High energy Level.
- Must have full capacity to multitask.
- Ability to process information & tasks with a minimum level of common sense.
- Current beverage service certification or equivalent.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Abu Dhabi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
