Title and Summary

Manager, Technical Programs MENA Localization


Market PM Role Objectives:


This role will lead cross-functional project planning and the execution of the defined plan in strong partnership with key stakeholders across all key functions so as to achieve on soil/regulatory compliance objectives of the market.


Market workstreams inscope for this role include:
Regulatory Reporting, Customer Engagement and Migration, Legal Entity.


Responsibilities:


This role will work with Business sponsor to define project scope, objectives and timelines, coordinate overall project plan across all workstreams and work with workstream leads to implement market requirements.

Responsibilities also include identify risks and work with appropriate team to manage risks, manage internal and external customer communications, support internal/external audits.

And also provide transparency, progress and ensure execution to the defined and agreed plan.


Key Responsibilities (Not Limited):
 Project Initiation (Scope and Objectives)

  • Define the boundaries and scope along with stakeholders
  • Align the scope with all stakeholders
  • Establish a sign off process
  • Establish a change control process
  • Establish audit requirements and acceptance criteria at the end of the project
  • Establish R&R across different functions and identify key contacts
 Project Planning

  • Build an enterprise wide project plan (Build to Market Plan) considering market, regulatory and organization realities
  • Ensure program governance and communication plans are established
  • Ensure all relevant stakeholders are engaged and workstreams are identified
  • Coordinate with Public Policy, Regulatory affairs, LFI and Data Privacy to ensure clarity on the Regulatory requirements and share the same with all stakeholders
  • Provide feedback from all impacted teams back to Public Policy so that they can respond to regulators
  • Support conversations at global level to create right priority of regional projects
 Project Execution:


  • Drive the timely completion of project across all workstreams with an indepth understanding of project implementation and an ability to anticipate potential troublespots and financial impact of delays
  • Coordinate with the relevant teams for timely delivery of the required changes
  • Coordinate with Legal team to draft various contractual agreements and coordinate the signing of the documents
  • Engage Customer Implementation Services teams for customer related changes, testing and migrations and regional communications if any e.g. Announcements/ bulletins /manuals
  • Closely partner with the relevant teams for any external announcements e.g. Core releases
  • Partner with all workstreams for implementation of the mandate's requirements
 Risk management & Financial management:

  • Engage key stakeholders in identifying project/program risks and work out plans and strategies to mitigate those risks
  • Be empowered to escalate issues quickly when needed to get crossfunctional alignment
  • Strategically evaluate budget and business cases and identify opportunities to drive optimal utilisation of budget for organizational and program success
 Communications management:


  • In partnership with Localization Team, establish a cadence of OpCo and SteerCo across appropriate stakeholders
  • Limit the participation to appropriate audience
  • Ensure necessary actions coming out of OpCo and SteerCo
 Compliance Audit:


  • Coordinate gathering of evidence with workstreams and supporting External Auditors
 Project Closure:


  • Setup Project closure meeting to call out completion of activities and determine owners of subsequent RUN activities
  • Ensure Retrospective is conducted and lessons learnt are captured
