    Job Summary:
    This position is accountable for the efficient and effective administration of the food and beverage purchasing and storeroom operations

    Key Job Tasks & Responsibilities:
    Responsible for all purchasing functions, quotations, quality, Price, Store and Receiving.
    Responsible for maintaining store inventory levels operationally needed.
    Make forecasts for product demand to ensure the sustainability of inventory.
    Obtains written approval for established Minimum / Maximum stock levels by the Financial Manager.
    Research and identify new products and services for the Restaurant in the market.
    Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers or contractors on behalf of the organization.
    Foster trust relationships with vendors to achieve better pricing and quality of services.
    Monitor vendors for quality, service, and price through standard purchasing specifications.
    Obtain competitive quotations for Restaurant requirements and ensure that the best product is sourced and purchased.
    Establish contracts to ensure reduced pricing for all operating areas of the Restaurant.
    Receives order list from the FOH or BOH daily and arranges for delivery of those items.

    Calls for quotations for any items costing more than a certain amount (As per company policy) and inquire into prices from various suppliers.

    Ensures & verifies that LPO are regularly updated, and supplier's new current price lists are maintained.
    Ensures that all authorised or approved purchase orders are sent to their respective suppliers/vendors for delivery purposes daily.
    Verify the 'pending orders' report daily, and all pending orders are checked and verified regularly.
    Ensures that all orders receiving dates are updated by the buyers according to the suppliers promised delivery dates.

    All the receiving invoices should enter to the system on a daily bias & shared the receiving details to the accounts department.

    Checks, explain if needed and approves delivered items discrepancy report issued by cost control regarding price and quantity order variances.

    Willing to work a flexible schedule to accomplish all major responsibilities and tasks.
    Purchase assigned items on a timely basis as required by operations.
    Work closely with requesting department heads to assure timely delivery and product quality.
    Know and use inventory and ordering system to create purchase orders, receive goods and manage inventory.
    Maintain agreed upon standards and practices in all beverage purchasing activities.
    Receive end users product issue requests and fill orders accordingly.
    Understand costs and budgets, and work with the appropriate department head to achieve/maintain budgeted cost percentage.
    Recommend best purchases and alternative new products to users.
    Establish and maintain adequate PAR levels. (Minimum, maximum, reorder point)Manage the stock storage and distribution according to FIFO rule.
    Take month-end inventory and enter into the showman system.
    Compliance with safety and OSHA.Other duties as assigned by the Head of Department.


    Requirements:
    Must be Computer literate, including software use, Excel, email, and Word.
    Advance mathematics skills.
    Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
    Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

    Must have work expierence in food and beverage / hospitality industry in UAE.Proficient in reading & writing the English language.

    Must have knowledge regarding the food storage as per Dubai municipality guidelines.
