**Description: - The Executive - Sales role is critical to the continued success of Hospitality Services outdoor events. Acting as the lead generator, account creation and retention. The role carries many responsibilities which directly influences the companies commercial success. As one of the key representative for our company a full range of skills are required to ensure continued customer satisfaction and profitability of our operations.

  • Sales and Planning
  • Perform Sales function to achieve and exceed KPI/Revenue targets.
  • Ensure an optimum yield from event through planned and focused coordination.
  • Attend sales related functions in order to promote opportunity and gain market intelligence
  • Recommend plans to improve sales performance and profitability; to identify lessons learned and recommend appropriate course correction
  • Prepare the event requirements, checklist, floor plan for each allocated event, detailing client requirements, as discussed in food tasting, preplanning meetings, as well as essential event information
  • Manage timely execution of events and related follow up.
  • Identify upselling opportunities for all services offered by DWTC that are available at an event.
  • Responsible for the financial closure of an event. To reconcile the event service order on EBMS directly after the event and provide Finance with the means to raise the final invoice.
  • Continuously research current competition trends.
  • Operate within established level of administrative responsibility with regards to sales.
  • Keep outstanding payments to minimum levels.
  • Produce sales/marketing related financial report as per guidelines set by Department Head
  • Plan and recommend followup on approval of relevant marketing programs to ensure maximum potential for customer leverage
  • Ensure that all sales and marketing techniques are properly implemented in accordance with the business plan and procedures. Ensure the structure is compatible with revenue control
  • Monitor Competitor activity, identify growth opportunities, best practices and provide recommendations to line manager on continuous basis
  • Develop a client database
  • Provide direct input to the budgeting process
  • Ensure all Audit requirements are met and adhered always
  • Understand the product, services and benefits offered by onsite facilities e.g. DTCHA, hotels, restaurants, etc and to promote the use of all of these amenities
  • Increase scope of event numbers and complexity with a goal to develop self.

  • Demonstrate the ability to confidently communicate with and gain the confidence of a full range of all relevant individuals
  • Demonstrate effective time management
  • Demonstrate the ability to understand consequences and implications of activities and occurrences and the impact on relevant parties, and the action required
  • Undertake presentations and site tours in a confident and professional manner
  • Ability to plan ahead for event in pipeline which is 6 months ahead.
