Are you looking for a new challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Contract Manager to join our team in Dubai.


Your Role :

The roles and responsibilities of the Contract Manager is to provide operational and administrational support to the Logistics Coordinator within the all-department team in order to ensure that the Contract Logistic business unit fulfils and executes the services and requirements as required by our contracted clients based on agreed SLA's.

A key deliverable of the Contract Manager is to monitor and develop Key Performance Metrics in conjunction with the Site Manager, to effectively measure each Kuehne+Nagel administration specialist and their respective client business activities in relation to their Daily, Weekly & Monthly activity and productivity.

Taking a proactive approach and driving the process forward toward improved customer loyalty through an improved customer experience.

Ongoing management of Kuehne+Nagel promises to the customer and ensures that the right and commercially responsible processes have been implemented across all operationally involved departments.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Act as single point of contact for any relevant operational (across business units) and administrative issues customer ́s related. Update and maintenance of Operational and Billing SOP and closely monitor and guide operations and proactively initiate/implement corrective actions to ensure the alignment between operations and the customer's expectations in terms of SOP/Procedures, prepare for all customer MBR/QBR and follow up the action plan.
  • Drive & Suggest (Internal / external) processes optimization in collaboration with BU's (Process & System teams & Operations manager) and set internal operational KPI (related to the customers' expectations) to be regularly reviewed with BUs stakeholders (FW). Manage and control Customer reporting (incl. KPI report, Data Quality) and discuss corrective actions with the related BU's.
  • Develop business relationship with the Customer to ensure Customer retention and Build strong relationship with as many points of contact possible to ensure a long standing business partnership.
  • Implement a procedure to increase invoicing accuracy in collaboration with the business units / Operational team and respond/handle spot rates requests in joint with the Site manager and support RFQ process running risks and GP analysis. Monitor Credit / Disputed invoices / Outstanding report with the customers and KN Finance department.
  • Handling all customer Audits
  • Responsible for Continuous Improvements ==>Identify & optimize processes together with the Site Manager
  • Support Customer retention Manager to renew the contracts (Communication for renewal should start 6 months prior to contract expiry)

Your Skills and Experiences:


  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a similar discipline
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in leading direct/virtual teams
  • Highly motivated and selfstarter individual
  • Able to Work in Team Environment
  • Fluency in English language is mandatory.
