    Description
    • Oversee the day-to-day operationsof facilities, including maintenance, security, andcleanliness.
    • Coordinate and schedule routinemaintenance activities to ensure optimal functioning of all systemsand equipment.
    • Manage vendor relationships andcontracts related to facility services.
    • Ensurecompliance with health and safety regulations, implementingpolicies to create a safe workingenvironment.
    • Conduct regular safety inspectionsand risk assessments, addressing any issuespromptly.
    • Coordinate and optimize theutilization of office space, considering the needs of variousdepartments.
    • Collaborate with relevantstakeholders to plan and execute office layout changes asneeded.
    • Assist in the development andmanagement of the facility servicesbudget.
    • Monitor expenses, identify cost-savingopportunities, and ensure efficient resourceallocation.
    • Develop and maintain emergencyresponse plans and procedures.
    • Conduct regulardrills and training sessions to ensure staff is prepared foremergency situations.
    • Develops, establishes,and controls the methods, procedures, and systems to facilitiesutilization and management for any type of space management, staffmoves or shifts, and furniture and equipment related matters withinthe building by coordinating with the business units, IT andinternal or external parties.
    • Develop andcoordinate plans for facilities projects, schedules work projects,monitors work in progress, inspects finished projects and evaluatesproject performance.
    • Liaise with internaldepartments and external partners to address facility-relatedissues.
    • Communicate effectively with employeesand management regarding facility updates andchanges.
    • Maintain accurate records offacility-related activities, including maintenance logs and servicecontracts.
    • Generate regular reports on facilityperformance and areas for improvement.
    • Capableof delegation and acting as backup for the line manager for allrelated duties as assigned by line manager.

    Requirements

    Tobe considered, you have to meet the following criteria.

    • Bachelors degree in Management,Business Administration, Project Management or a relatedfield.
    • Proven 5-8 years of experience infacility management or a related role.
    • At least5 years of experience in UAE.
    • Knowledge of UAEregulations and standards related to facilityoperations.
    • Knowledge of budgetary practicesand principles.
    • Knowledge of space utilizationand facilities management.
    • Knowledge ofsupervisory practices and principle
    • Proficientin MS Office and facility managementsoftware.
