    Description
     To assist in planning manpower requirementsto achieve an efficient usage of labour, considering business needsand seasonal trends.

     Assist in preparingyearly budgets for the laundry department and remain fullyaccountable for revenue objectives.

     Workwith colleagues across the hotel to ensure all guest requirementsare met.

    Operations

    Oversee and manage the laundry function of the hotel, activelylooking for ways to exceed guest expectations at alltimes.

     Ensure that all guest laundry isprocessed quickly and efficiently in line with the requirements ofthe guest.

     Ensure that all laundry machinesand equipment are well maintained and workproperly.

     Ensure that all linen and uniformsof the hotel are in good and cleancondition.

     Manage relationships andcontracts with suppliers.

     Ensure thatdepartmental SOP's are current and in effect andavailable for all team members to use as reference, revise andupdate when necessary.

     Rostering andscheduling of all Laundry personnel.

    Supervise and manage the work of all team members in the Laundrydepartment

     Ensure health & safetyrequirements are adhered to.
