Description
To assist in planning manpower requirementsto achieve an efficient usage of labour, considering business needsand seasonal trends. Assist in preparingyearly budgets for the laundry department and remain fullyaccountable for revenue objectives.
Workwith colleagues across the hotel to ensure all guest requirementsare met.
Operations
Oversee and manage the laundry function of the hotel, activelylooking for ways to exceed guest expectations at alltimes.
Ensure that all guest laundry isprocessed quickly and efficiently in line with the requirements ofthe guest.
Ensure that all laundry machinesand equipment are well maintained and workproperly.
Ensure that all linen and uniformsof the hotel are in good and cleancondition.
Manage relationships andcontracts with suppliers.
Ensure thatdepartmental SOP's are current and in effect andavailable for all team members to use as reference, revise andupdate when necessary.
Rostering andscheduling of all Laundry personnel.
Supervise and manage the work of all team members in the Laundrydepartment
Ensure health & safetyrequirements are adhered to.
