- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, isometric diagrams, and welding symbols.
- Cut, shape, and prepare stainless steel (SS), carbon steel (CS), and other metals using tools such as gas cutters, grinders, and saws.
- Fabricate and assemble piping systems, skids, and structural components in accordance with project specifications and applicable codes. ( Knowledge of ASME Stamp pressure vessels fabrication is an advantage)
- Verify dimensions and alignment using measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, levels).
- Oversee the preparation of assemblies for welding or bolting, ensuring precise fit, finish, and compliance with ASME standards.
- Lead and supervise fabrication teams during workshop and site installation of piping, skids, and pressure vessels.
- Plan daily activities, allocate tasks, and ensure work is executed according to project timelines, drawings, and quality standards.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and welders to resolve technical or site-related issues promptly.
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures and compliance with ASME and company quality requirements.
- Provide guidance and on-the-job training to junior fabricators and helpers to improve skill levels and productivity.
