Chalet Berezka Restaurant Floor supervisor is expected to manage the front-of-house operations, such as performing opening and closing operations, delegating tasks to waiters, runners and coordinating with cashier, bar and back of house employees throughout the day or shift, and ensuring each guest or client will receive an excellent experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • To work alongside the General Manager to ensure all front of house service and operation deliverables will be completed and improved on a daily or weekly basis deadline.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction through promoting excellent service; respond to customer complaints tactfully and professionally
  • Maintain quality control for all food served by overseeing and coordinating front and back of the house restaurant operations to satisfy the needs of the guests whilst ensuring the frontline servers are achieving the service and product delivery standard.
  • Lead to oversee health code compliance and sanitation standards for front of house, bar and events staff.
  • To review potential cost reductions, seek ways to cut waste and decrease operational costs and service improvements to the highest standards and as required and discuss with the General Manager and Managing Director.
  • To be the main point of contact of the front house team members: hostess, reception agent/ supervisor, waiters, runners, bar employees and cleaners.
  • Responsible and must be able to monitor and guide the cashier upon doing the cash payment, credit transactions, billing charges, and void transactions of the inaccurate entries after upon evaluation if it's valid and justifiable. Must be on top on providing assistance to inquiries related to cash management or transaction flow during and in between operation and shift hours.
  • Assist with performance reviews of General Manager with new starters and existing staff by providing valuable feedback to improve the customer's experience. Provide training assistance to new employees and for any ongoing training for all staff
  • Project future needs for needed goods, frontline supplies, and stationaries; order accordingly if needed with the respective approval.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources department for any staff document required for the restaurant as confirmed and tasked by the General Manager.
  • All other duties and responsibilities assigned by the General Manager and Managing Director must be completed.

Salary:
AED6, AED7,000.00 per month plus services charges.
