Job Summary:


Key Responsibilities:

1.


Sanitization and Cleaning:

Perform thorough cleaning and disinfection of assigned areas, including patient rooms, treatment areas, waiting rooms, restrooms, and common spaces.

Adhere to strict infection control protocols and established cleaning procedures.

Infection Control:

Follow proper techniques for cleaning and disinfection, paying special attention to high-touch surfaces and areas prone to contamination. Use appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to prevent the spread of infections.


3.


Waste Management:

Collect and dispose of medical waste and trash according to established guidelines and regulations. Ensure proper labeling and handling of hazardous materials.


4.


Floor Care:

Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors as needed to maintain clean and safe surfaces. Address spills and stains promptly to prevent accidents.


5.


Equipment Maintenance:

Clean and maintain equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition. Report any equipment malfunctions to the supervisor.


6.


Compliance and Safety:

Follow all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Comply with medical facility policies and procedures related to infection control and safety.


7.


Team Collaboration:

Work collaboratively with other housekeeping staff, healthcare professionals, and departments to maintain a harmonious and functional healthcare environment.


8.


Emergency Response:

Be prepared to assist in emergency situations, including spills, accidents, and infection outbreaks, as directed by the supervisor.


Qualifications and Skills:


  • Prior experience in housekeeping, preferably in a healthcare or medical facility setting, is advantageous.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to uphold strict cleanliness standards.
  • Knowledge of infection control practices and protocols.
  • Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their proper usage.
  • Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Salary:
AED1, AED2,000.00 per month
