Skills & Experience 5+ years of relevant experience.

• Working within the Structural team undertaking the structural modelling and detailing of projects in the building & infrastructure sectors.
• Development of new Revit families, templates and assist with the development of BIM protocols.
• An interest in of emerging technologies, including Grasshopper, Revit and Dynamo, 4D Timelines would be advantageous.
• Supporting the BIM Technical Specialist by providing technical expertise on projects to ensure that they are delivered to cost, schedule, technical and quality standards.
• Undertaking Structural Modelling and Structural Detailing on global projects
• Working with the Technical Specialist on the delivery of major projects using CAD and BIM software packages, as required.
• Ensuring that projects are delivered to the agreed outputs on time and to quality standards.
• Undertake coordination and clash detection in a 3D environment.
• Proactive communication and coordination with architects, MEP engineers and other external consultants.
• Assist engineers with presentation of conceptual ideas 3D images, visuals and presentations.
• Support and mentor junior technicians to help them reach their full potential through career development and personal growth.
• Implement Quality System on projects

Required Qualifications and Memberships

• HNC or HND in Civil Engineering, or equivalent.
• Technician member of the IStructE, ICE or equivalent would be advantageous, but not essential.
