TrulyGood vibesAbout the roleJoining us as a DevSecOps Engineer means immersing yourself in diverse responsibilities—ranging from crafting operational tools, automating workflows, conducting design and architecture reviews, to probing system lapses and intricate outages.

You will be pivotal in augmenting our monitoring infrastructure, setting service benchmarks, and ensuring the steadfastness of Persistence's offerings.
Roles & responsibilitiesCollaborate with product teams, accompanying them through all stages—from ideation and design to deployment and maintenance.


Assure paramount system attributes:
reliability, performance, security, efficiency, and scalability, especially for nodes functioning on associated networks. Architect and oversee monitoring systems and reliability tools, thereby laying the foundation for enhanced engineer accessibility. Proficiently automate deployment and configuration mechanisms. Participate in an on-call rotation with your engineering squad, spearheading incident

responses and championing no-blame postmortem evaluations.

Innovate by driving improvements in system capabilities and streamlining processes—encompassing capacity planning, configuration, security, performance optimization, surveillance, and in-depth analysisBasic qualificationsProficiency in Systems Engineering, with a focus on designing, building, deploying, and leading large-scale and high-availability applications.

Strong programming acumen in Python & Go. In-depth familiarity with cloud services and platforms, including AWS, GCP, Kubernetes, and Docker. Relevant experience in an SRE/PE/DevOps capacity. Prior experience in web3 Preferred qualificationsResilience, determination, and a profound sense of ownership.
A degree in Computer Science or a related domain (or equivalent hands-on experience). Advanced coding skills in languages like C/C++, Java, Javascript, Python or Go, coupled with adaptability to new programming environments.

Sound understanding of the Linux ecosystem:
from filesystems, memory

management, threading processes to user/kernel-space dynamics.
Hands-on experience with large-scale distributed systems, security measures, multi-tier architectures, and storage solutions. Expertise in crafting and sustaining software frameworks and APIs.
Deep knowledge of TCP/IP stack, internet routing protocols, and load balancing.
Prior experience in operating nodes on decentralized networks is a distinct advantage.

Prior experience in in DeFi, Staking or Liquid Staking About The TeamPersistence Labs is a team of 25+ highly motivated and skilled individuals working towards a common goal.

The team has a total of 4 functions across each product team - Engineering, Design, Marketing, and Business Development. In addition, Persistence Labs has a corporate team responsible for Legal, Compliance, Operations and Finance.

We are a fully global team with people coming together from all parts of the world - Europe, Asia, and the Middle East.

Members of the Persistence team have been early Cosmos community members and helped launch the Cosmos Hub in 2019.

We have been early adopters of Inter Blockchain Communication (IBC) and have had a stellar record of being at the forefront of innovation in Cosmos and beyond.

The Persistence Labs team pioneered liquid staking in Cosmos, with pSTAKE being the first liquid staking solution built for Cosmos.
