Looking for a Fleet Mechanical Engineer preferably from Automobile field experience as a service adviser for Auto parts.

Perform a variety of duties in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing vehicles, equipment, and components.


Key Responsibilities:

• Providing advice on service required for routine daily maintenance.

- identify mechanical problems by questioning the driver, performing a visual inspection, or road test.

• Consult with the shop on inspection results, recommend corrective actions and prepare work order for necessary repairs.
• Prepare a repair order showing estimates of time, cost, and labor for the service.
• Write a brief description of the customer's concerns about the repair order to assist the technician in identifying the problem.
• Explains the work performed and repair order fees.
• Addresses drivers' complaints to concerned supervisor/ manager.
• Schedule service appointments.
• Obtain vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
• Test drive the car with the driver as needed to confirm the problem or refer to the workshop technician to do the necessary work.
• Advise drivers on caring for their vehicles and the value of maintaining their vehicles according to manufacturers' specifications.
• Provides a complete and accurate written estimate of the cost of labor and parts.
• Obtain the customer's signature on the repair order. Provides the customer with a copy.
• Check the progress of the repair process throughout the day. Communicates with shop/driver regarding any changes in estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and obtains appropriate authorization before making any additional repairs.
• Review repair orders to ensure work is completed and note additional work. Close the repair order as appropriate.
• Ensure vehicles are parked in designated areas. Make sure it is locked, and that all keys are tagged and put away properly.
• Keep service department forms, menus, and pricing guides up to date.
• Implements the quality control process.
• Handles telephone inquiries regarding ongoing work.
• Perform other related tasks as assigned by
  Operations Manager and taking initiatives.

Salary:
AED6, AED7,000.00 per month
