Job Summary:


The Office Assistant is responsible for providing workplace services and administrative support to increase individual well-being, personal productivity, and organizational effectiveness.


Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers, new hires and visitors in the office and on the phone, and making them feel welcome.
  • Assist with logistics when employees visit from other Verition offices.
  • Order catering for conferences and meetings, reserve conference rooms, set up and clean up catering.
  • Schedule meetings and assist with video conferencing needs in the office.
  • Schedule vendors for maintenance and repairs.
  • Maintain inventory of office supplies and order as needed.
  • Stock pantry/kitchen with all necessary supplies and ensure all items are consistently replenished.
  • Assist HR with planning and execution of office events happy hours, holiday parties, wellness etc.
  • Assist the HR team with onboarding and offboarding of employees.
  • Assist building with Fire Safety drills for the office.
  • Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
