Job Summary:
The Office Assistant is responsible for providing workplace services and administrative support to increase individual well-being, personal productivity, and organizational effectiveness.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, new hires and visitors in the office and on the phone, and making them feel welcome.
- Assist with logistics when employees visit from other Verition offices.
- Order catering for conferences and meetings, reserve conference rooms, set up and clean up catering.
- Schedule meetings and assist with video conferencing needs in the office.
- Schedule vendors for maintenance and repairs.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies and order as needed.
- Stock pantry/kitchen with all necessary supplies and ensure all items are consistently replenished.
- Assist HR with planning and execution of office events happy hours, holiday parties, wellness etc.
- Assist the HR team with onboarding and offboarding of employees.
- Assist building with Fire Safety drills for the office.
- Ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data.
