- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming
- Mix and match paint for accurate and consistent color results
- Operate various spray painting equipment, including airbrushes, electrostatic painters, and automatic guns
- Monitor and adjust spray equipment to achieve desired results and efficient use of materials
- Apply coatings evenly and smoothly, ensuring minimal overspray and avoiding errors
- Follow safety and quality standards and guidelines to deliver outstanding results
- Maintain and clean painting equipment and work area
- Proven experience as a Spray Painter, preferably in an industrial or automotive setting
- Knowledge of paint mixing, color matching, and spray painting techniques
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
- Good physical fitness and dexterity to work with different materials and tools
- Excellent attention to detail and an eye for color and design
- Strong time-management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment
