    Description


    • Promotes the business to new andexisting clients and secures new and repeat business by networkingat various sales and corporate events


    •Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, email,and networking; identifies and develop new customer accounts toincrease sales


    • Adheres to salesforecast and strategic plan to ensure optimization andprofitability of the Business Unit


    •Provides sales forecasts and ensures that the brand/categoryfunction is informed for requiredactions


    • Manages sales operations,regularly monitors day-to-day operations, including checks onprospective clients, negotiations and the design of competitivesales packages


    • Visits customerfrequently to take orders, confirm delivery details and stocklevels


    • Records progress of enquiriesand creates regular reports, including source of business trends,enquiry conversion rates, future predicted sales and other reportsas directed by the sales manager


    •Advises customers on forthcoming product developments and discussesspecial promotions


    • Prepares documentsrelated to sale and supports contracting activities like purchaseagreements, contracts, etc. in coordination with the Legaldepartment


    • Maintains and files allrelated documents and ensures compliance with regulatory andorganizational standards


    • Providescustomers with clarifications, answers queries, provides requestedinformation and follows-up withcustomers


    • Provides accurate and timelyforecasting on a periodic basis, and discusses inefficienciesrelated to the performance of the sales; prepares sales reports andsummaries on a frequent basis


    •Evaluates customer and is responsible for applicable backgroundchecks to ensure customer falls within the BusinessUnit's guidelines


    • Ensuresall logistics related to sales orders and delivery are inplace


    • Ensures timely collection ofreceivables from clients (whenapplicable)


    • Performs otherresponsibilities and tasks as required or as directed by managementfrom time to time
