Responsibilities:


  • Supervise and lead a team of fabrication technicians engaged in structural fabrication and manufacturing processes.
  • Plan and coordinate fabrication activities to meet project requirements and timelines.
  • Ensure adherence to design specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols during fabrication processes.
  • Oversee the setup and operation of fabrication equipment, such as cutting machines, welding machines, and bending machines.
  • Monitor the fabrication process to identify and resolve issues or deviations from design specifications.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to review design plans and address technical queries related to fabrication.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as assembly and installation, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct inspections of fabricated components to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to fabrication technicians to enhance skills and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of fabrication activities, production reports, and related documentation.

Requirements:


  • 510 years of local UAE experience as a Fabrication Supervisor in a structural fabrication unit or similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of structural fabrication processes and techniques, including welding, cutting, bending, and assembly.
  • Proven experience in structural fabrication for crushers, screens, washers, or similar equipment is a plus.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively.
  • Strong planning and organizational skills to optimize fabrication schedules and resources.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Time management skills to meet project deadlines and manage fabrication schedules.
  • Willingness to relocate to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
  • Technical diploma or relevant certification in structural fabrication or welding is preferred.
