Full Description:


The Maintenance Superintendent responsibility covers all turbo-machinery, rotating equipment, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, monitoring protection systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning ('HVAC'), safety equipment and Cranes Maintenance.

The role assumes the responsibility of authority for ensuring safe operations of all equipment and systems by carrying out safety critical maintenance and working closely with the Onshore Support Team on managing deviations and attending to areas of non-compliance.


Responsibilities:


  • Review and authorize Control of Work policies and procedures such as Permit to Work (PTW), Task Risk Assessment (TRA), Lifting Plans, Isolations Certificate, Bypass Certificates and others in line with documented Company related HSE procedures.
  • Ensure team compliance with Emergency and HSE Training Matrix to ensure maintenance staff are trained and competent to follow these measures.
  • Prepare and support Insurance Underwriter Risk Improvement, process safety, HSE and Safety Critical Elements audits, and assume responsibility to close actions items.
  • Generate downtime repots, failure reports and incident reports. Conduct root cause analysis for equipment trips and failure in coordination with support team responsible person. Implement corrective actions.
  • Custodian of Onshore Operations Maintenance and machine logs.
  • Execute maintenance programs and campaigns in timely & effective manner to address replacement of obsolescence equipment and devices.
  • Execute condition & performance monitoring program to pre-identify and address equipment issues prior to failure.
  • Manage the maintenance teams to carry out all activities in accordance
with procedures, Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)

recommendation and industry best practices for all onshore operations

  • Comply with maintenance procedures, standards and strategy.
  • Complete execution of safety critical elements, inspection, maintenance and testing.
  • Responsible for formal deferment of all SCE inspection, maintenance and testing in accordance with deferment procedure.
  • Responsible to ensure all deviations are risk assessed and formally approved in accordance with Operations Risk Assessment procedure.
  • Responsible for reviewing and authorizing all bypasses and ensure team compliance with bypass and override procedures.
  • Responsible for daily and monthly reporting of maintenance, inspection and testing activities.
  • Responsible for the register of modified tools

Experience:


  • At least 10 years experience in oil & gas maintenance position, of which at least 5 years spent in a multi discipline leadership position.
  • Thorough understanding of safe systems of work including the permit to work, isolation procedures, hot work, confined space entry, and risk assessment.
  • Demonstrable experience of multidiscipline oil and gas small projects/ construction in a leadership role.

Qualifications:


  • Diploma or Equivalent in an Engineering Discipline
