Security Officer – Job Description

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Security Officer who is proficient in managing and implementing security measures to safeguard our organization. The ideal candidate should be fluent in English and possess strong skills to work with a security team effectively.

Responsibilities:

· Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure the safety of personnel, assets, and information.

· Conduct regular risk assessments and devise strategies to mitigate potential security threats.

· Utilize surveillance systems and technology to monitor premises and detect any suspicious activities.

· Respond promptly to security incidents and emergencies.

· Implement and manage access control systems to regulate entry and exit points.

· Ensure the proper identification and verification of individuals accessing secured areas.

· Maintain clear and effective communication with internal stakeholders, law enforcement, and relevant authorities.

· Prepare and submit regular security reports to senior management.

· Update security protocols based on industry best practices and emerging threats.

· Conduct internal investigations on security incidents and breaches, documenting findings and recommending corrective actions.

· Develop and maintain emergency response plans, including evacuation procedures and crisis management.

· Stay current with security regulations, laws, and industry standards, ensuring the organization's compliance.

Requirements:

o Proven experience as a Security Officer or in a similar role.

o Fluent in English, with excellent communication abilities.

o Knowledge of security protocols and technologies.

o Ability to make quick and sound decisions in high-pressure situations.

o Certification in security management or related field is a plus.
