    Description

    What You Need ToSucceed At XPO

    • Pay starts at$19.74/hour
    • Afternoon Shift, 1:00pm -10:00pm
      • Competitive and comprehensive benefitsoptions available for those scheduled to work 30 hours ormore/week
      • Efficiently sort, handle, load andunload palletized and non-palletizedfreight
      • Use appropriate motorized and manualequipment, including pallet jack, forklift and byhand
      • Secure freight inside trailers usingappropriate tools and supplies
      • Work in a safe,efficient manner, adhering to company safetypolicies
      • Use mobile handheld devices to scanand track shipments
      • Work on a dock that is notclimate-controlled for extended periods oftime

    At aminimum, you'll need:

    • To be at least 18 years ofage
    • Ability to do basic math calculations, withand without a calculator
    • Availability to work avariety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends,due to varying freight volumes

    It'd Be GreatIf You Also Have

    • Dock/warehouse experience in thetransportation industry
    • Forklift experience ina freight/less-than-truckloadenvironment
    • Experience loading and unloadingtrailers
    • Desire to succeed with a strongattention to detail

    This Job Requires TheAbility To

    • Lift freight and other objects ofvarious shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently andgreater than 70 lbs. occasionally)
    • Sort,handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight usingappropriate motorized and manual equipment, including a palletjack, forklift and by hand
    • Safely walk andstand for extended periods of time on a loading dock that is notclimate-controlled and may be slippery
    • Reach(including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squatand kneel as necessary
