    Pediatric Pulmonology Specialist Job Opportunity

    University Hospital Sharjah is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Pediatric Pulmonology specialist to join our distinguished Pediatrics Department.

    1. We are looking for a clinical professional with at least 5 years of post-certification experience in an active, acute care accredited institution or equivalent.
    • American Specialty Board certification or equivalent as per SHA Table of Equivalency is required for this position.

    The selected candidate will be responsible for admitting patients to the hospital, ensuring full admission documentation, ordering treatments and medications, initiating investigations and liaising with non-clinical/clinical staff. They will also conduct ward rounds daily and prepare for consultant/specialist rounds. Additionally, they will keep daily records of inpatient progress attend specified clinics follow up patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings adjust patient treatment based on investigation results perform invasive procedures/surgery where applicable obtain informed consent participate in medical staff conferences serve on hospital committees assume other duties assigned by the department head carry out specific job description responsibilities participate in administration meet JCI regulatory requirements encourage teamwork implement policies disseminate information promote quality improvement activities.”],
