Description
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Insurance Executive to join a leading hospital's claims team. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth operation of our insurance-related processes, particularly in the areas of claims management, approvals, and team coordination.
Key Responsibility Areas:
Oversee the hospital's insurance claims process, ensuring claims are processed accurately and promptly. Handle complex claim disputes and liaise with insurance providers for resolution.
Supervise the allocation of approvals for insurance claims, making sure they comply with both hospital and insurance policies.
Manage and mentor a team of 3-4 insurance coordinators, fostering an environment of learning and efficiency. Monitor team performance and provide constructive feedback.
Work closely with hospital administration to develop and implement insurance policies and procedures that align with healthcare regulations and standards.
Serve as the primary point of contact for insurance providers, patients, and hospital staff regarding insurance-related inquiries and issues.
Regularly prepare reports on insurance operations, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Implement strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
Qualification & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in insurance management, preferably in a healthcare setting.
Proven experience in leading and managing teams.
Strong understanding of healthcare insurance policies and regulations.
Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in healthcare management systems
