    Job Purpose: About therole:

    In partnership with EKASbusiness units continuously analyse customer data hospitality andindustry trends to support new product ideas and enhance existingproducts. Coordinate a portfolio of projects which will enhanceservice capability across the network and contribute to thecorporate goal of ensuring Emirates secures customer loyalty andobtains repeat business. As a key member of project working groupsensure new product ideas are implemented costeffectively andagainst set timeline

    What you willdo:

    • Engage with MarketResearch and CASA and obtain external airline industry data toreview Emirates customer needs in terms of airport operations bothin Dubai and throughout the Network. Analyse data gathered from thevarious sources and make recommendations to the EKAS managementteam influencing decisions concerning EKAS product developmentsacross the EK network.
    • Oversee thecoordination of product/service trials analyse feedback of trialoutcomes identify trends and prepare recommendations in order thatdecisions can be arrived at by the senior EKAS management team asto the suitability of implementing changes. Submit proposals withdetails of implementation costs timescales benefits to customersand Emirates revenue gains (if ascertainable) and any additionalinformation which will help to inform the decision making of theEKAS Management team.
    • Where productdevelopment ideas are progressing through the approval processarrange for all key stakeholders to be consulted on implementationpracticalities. In the case of those product ideas that have beenapproved for implementation draw up project plans in collaborationwith other working group members giving consideration to projectgoals timeframes resources and contingency plans. Regularly reviewprogress ensuring project implementation targets are met andcontinue to review ongoing performance of the product/serviceagainst initially evaluated objectives.
    • Priorto implementation of new and approved product developments defineand devise standard operating procedures seeking feedback fromstakeholders. Following implementation obtain regular feedback onthe procedures by carrying out regular audits both internally andvia CASA ensuring any necessary improvements are implemented.
    • Maintain proactive dialogue with EKDepartments such as Skywards and Commercial Operations ensuringthat information on all the latest product changes special offersetc are fully understood and that any impact on EKAS iscommunicated to the relevant sections for purposes of maintainingconsistency between the air and the ground product.
    • Responsible for the primary evaluation of all productideas received through the NAJM scheme targeting a certain numberof evaluated and accepted ideas per annum. Encourage EKAS staff andother internal stake holders to make well thought out and practicalnew product ideas recommending and maintaining processes fortapping such ideas and completing comprehensive evaluations of thesame prior to implementation.
    • Liaise withmarket research and corporate communications in relation to thebiannual lounge survey. Collate and analyse the survey outcomeshighlighting any issues that require improvements proposingproduct/service enhancements and developing action plans to addressthe areas that require improvement.
    • Contribute to maintaining the EKAS quality program bymaking recommendations and setting up systems which involvedevising performance measurement systems producing audit checklistsand evaluating business unit performance against KPIs. Inputoperational results and feedback into product enhancements.Wherever necessary and from a customer perspective providerecommendations to operational management regarding servicestandards and/or processes.

    Qualifications &Experience: To be considered for the role you must meet the belowrequirements:

    • A completedDegree or Honours (123 or equivalent)
    • 5 yearsof experience working in Airport Operations
    • Experience of providing administrative support in anairline ground service or ground handling agency at a major airportor hub is essential
    • Comprehensive knowledgeof products and processes within passenger services passengersupport services and baggage services
    • Understanding of customer trends
    • Ability to input into product development ideas
    • Ability to produce implementation plans andmonitor progress
    • Ability to propose productimprovement recommendations and solutions to problems
    • Negotiation skills with an ability to influence change
    • Verbal and written presentation skills
    • Expert PC skills with knowledge of Microsoftapplications
    • Ability to present evaluate andanalyse data
    • Project management skills
