    Account Manager, Business Development (Electronic Warfare)

    Job Summary:


    To identify and translate highly complex market opportunities into confirmed business with an aim to achieve targeted order intake and contribute in driving incremental business, revenue and profit growth.


    Responsibilities:

    • Lead business development activities for high complex market opportunities in order to contribute in achieving target order intakes targets of assigned business vertical.
    • Lead analysis of sector-wide primary and secondary market studies on industry, market, competitor analysis, products/services to ascertain opportunities to penetrate into broader customer and product/ services segments.
    • Lead research and analysis on new business opportunities (technical capability analysis and financial valuation) to recommend their feasibility.
    • Implement business development approaches in coordination with PMO, Finance Department and Bidding & Proposal Management section for pre-proposal positioning.
    • Support Bidding & Proposal Management section to develop commercial and technical proposals.
    • Lead the follow up business opportunities in the development pipeline and undertake necessary actions to convert them into confirmed business.
    • Conduct negotiations with customers, business partners, suppliers and other counterparts.
    • Address customer queries/ complaints regarding sales and service.
    • Track business status report reports to project sales against the target revenue.
    • Contribute in evaluating business opportunities for acquisition of licensing for technologies, research collaboration, strategic alliances, joint ventures, distribution agreements, mergers/
    • acquisitions/ disinvestments, intellectual property rights etc.
    • Establish and foster networking and relationships with key strategic partners (such as suppliers, business partners, industry experts, stakeholders etc.) in the target markets and create a platform for business deals in relevant market segments.
    • Mentor junior staff based on their individual strength, skill sets and experience levels.
    • Represent the company in national and international exhibitions, trade shows, seminars, forums,
    • discussions and debates
    • Process information from seminars, forums, discussions / debates on relevant subject matters so as to ensure alignment to leading best practices.
    • Contribute in implementing, reviewing, monitoring and improving the integrated management system (IMS) in co-ordination with Organization Excellence department, as required.
    • Contribute in implementing new systems and processes to optimize more effective project management as required and within the framework of project delivery approach.
    • Perform any other related activities as directed by Senior Account Manager and in accordance with company policy.

    Qualifications:

    • BA or BS degree in any discipline
    • Must hold UAE Family Book

    Experience:

    • 9 years experience in business development in public/ private company.
    • Experience in business development in public/ private company in defense & security industry sector.
