- Attending to Inspection Requests (IR's) submitted by thecontractor and take appropriate action in a timelymanner.
- Reviewing submitted shop drawings againstcontract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutoryrequirements and international best practice.
- Reportingany works carried out by contractor found to not be in accordancewith approved drawing and specifications and report to stakeholdersfor appropriate action.
- Monitoring quality of works andassess the safety at site including health and environmentalissues, ensuring compliance with contractual specifications andsafety and health risk assessments.
- Maintaining recordsfor daily activities on site including progress photos and ensurethey are readily available for inspection as and whenrequired.
- Preparing surveillance report(s) fordeficiencies of work found at site and non conformance reports(NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
- Checking and ensuring effective co ordination between disciplinerelated works and all other disciplines.
- Providingtechnical input and experiences to resolve any discipline relatedissues on site that may arise.
