Faststream are Exclusively working with a new shipping company expanding their business and looking for an experienced Technical Manager to help set up the Technical management of Tanker vessels that are imminently being purchased.

As a key individual in their growing business, you will have the opportunity to help shape the technical management procedures and contribute to the success of the company.

Responsibilities:

Establish and oversee technical management procedures for Tanker vessels
Conduct prepurchase inspections of vessels and provide technical support during the purchase process
Manage vessel repairs and maintenance, including budgeting and scheduling
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Liaise with owners, charterers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operation of vessels

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical management of Tanker vessels
Experience in prepurchase inspections and setting up ship management on behalf of owners
Strong knowledge of relevant regulations and standards
Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
