Description

  • Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications; ensure local codes and statutory requirements are adhered to and international best practice is adopted
  • Report any work executed by the contractor that is not compliant with approved specifications; inform stakeholders where necessary
  • Maintain reports for all site activities including progress reports, ensuring are readily available for inspection
  • Prepare surveillance and nonconformance reports (NCR) if required
  • Ensure effective coordination between various disciplines
  • Provide technical assistance
  • Check site conditions for suitability prior to construction
  • Observe, check and record works execution is in accordance with approved methods
  • Check instructions are being carried out
  • Check services locations and ensure their protection
  • Attend tests as directed by the RE/Electrical Engineer
  • Record inspections, tests, work executed etc
  • Review and supervise the execution of HVAC Electrical works
  • Review and supervise the execution of plumbing & portable water networks
  • Check material delivered are as approved and properly stored
  • Observe site safety procedures
  • Measure work done when required
  • Assist in the review of shop drawings
  • Assist in the review and preparation of 'As-Built' drawings
  • Have minimum knowledge and skills in using relevant computer software
  • Act positively, and participate in all health and safety issues at site, as required by the Resident Engineer, and project Safety Representative
  • Must comply with safety, health and risk management requirements
  • Minimum diploma in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college/university
  • Minimum of 45 years of demonstrable experience as Electrical Site Inspector
  • Proven experience of all Electrical components is a must including HVAC, plumbing and water network and fire fighting, LPG
  • Proven experience in housing and residential developments
  • UAE experience is a must.
  • Must be available in UAE.
  • Must be available to join immediately.

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to AED5,500.00 per month
