Duties AndResponsibilities

• Analyzing, examining, andinvestigating patients and their medical histories for signs andsymptoms of hormonal imbalances
• Advising,ordering, and performing tests and interpreting theresults
• Discussing diagnosis with patients,explaining treatment options, and giving advice on medications,lifestyle and dietary changes, and other preventativemeasures
• Carrying out follow-up appointments,monitoring patient progress, adjusting treatment plans andmedications, and updating patientrecords
• Supporting patients with serious orcomplex endocrine conditions and their lovedones
• Conducting research and studies on theendocrine system and its diseases, disorders, and conditions todevelop new treatment techniques
• Remainingup-to-date on current discoveries, developments, trends, research,and technology
• Handling basic administrative,clerical, and business tasks, such as filing, answering phones, ordata entry
  
  

Requirements

Requirementsand qualifications

• A medical degree in endocrinology andthe successful completion of a residency andfellowship
• A medical license and certificationto practice endocrinology
• A thoroughunderstanding of the endocrine system and its diseases, disorders,and conditions
• Strong analytical abilities toprovide accurate diagnoses
• Excellentdecision-making, interpersonal, and communicationskills
• Strong organizational, problem-solving,and researching skills
• Proficiency withcomputers and medical equipment
