Position: Project Emergency Response Manager

Experience and Qualification

Bachelor of Science, Engineering Degree or equivalent

10 y of experience in Emergency Response management in the Oil and gas industry (Offshore background)

ICS training or equivalent is advised

H2S training

Tasks

Focal point for the development and implementation of the Emergency Response Plan for the Project

Lead and Coordinate the Project Emergency Response Team

Provide advice to Project Management team on emergency response strategy

Develop and implement training package for Project Emergency Response Team and Project Management team

Prepare, assess, and implement Emergency and Crisis Drills

Ensure readiness of Evacuation response means (team, equipment, tools) through periodic inspection and audits

Ensure delivery of Certified Fire Fighter training program

Ensure readiness and adequacy of the Emergency Response Team capability to manage a response emergency which involve a massive amount of workers from remote offshore location.

Skills

HSE emergency situations and related mitigation actions

Offshore background experience

Able to assess, plan and manage a massive evacuation from several offshore locations;

Site Safety Programs

HSE and Emergency and Crisis audits

HSE Risk Assessment, especially related to H2S risks

Spill prevention and response

Firefighting Techniques

Local safety and maritime regulation

Strong leadership skills

Coaching and mentoring of the Emergency response team
