    Description

    Responsibilities

    • Drives the implementation ofstandardized sales process and sales practices, and performancemanagement tools and processes throughout the entireSalesforce
    • Leads sales forecasting, planning,and processes used within the sales organization. Proactivelymonitors and strives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy,and process consistency in the sales organization'splanning efforts
    • Assists in the development andreporting of key performance metrics to help drive increasing Salesproductivity
    • Assists with annual planning andmonthly forecasting processes to support sales leadershipteam
    • Analyzes performance and productivity datato support coaching/performance management efforts carried out byregional sales leaders
    • Understands key metricsto include outside data, year over year performance and run ratesin relationship to overall company goals with a bottom upapproach
    • Works directly with Sales Operationsleadership on business-critical reportingneeds
    • Ensures that the best tools, training,and resources are available to the sales organization (acrossdisciplines - local sales, contract sales, business development,and specialists)
    • Proactively monitors andstrives to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and processconsistency in the sales organization's planning efforts(CRM platform)
    • Stays current withSysco's value-added offerings and technology solutions,including but not limited to customer-facing reportingtools
    • Develops strong working relationshipswith regional sales organization, finance, merchandising, andrevenue management
    • Learns quickly when facingnew challenges; thrives on fast-pacedenvironment
    • Adapts well to change and views newexperiences as growth opportunities
    • Otherduties as assigned

    Qualifications

    Educationand / or Experience:

    • Minimum: Bachelor's degree ina related field or 5 years of sales experience, and 2+ years in asales support business-to-business professionalrole
    • Preferred: 2+ years of experience leadinga business-to-business sales team in a professional salesenvironment

    • Solid analytical problem-solvingskills, including familiarity with analyzing reports &deriving insights from data
    • Ability to expressinformation in terms of profit and loss, food cost and expenseratio
    • Strong financial acumen and ability toproperly plan and execute businessplans

    • Demonstrated ability to coach andmentor peers and associates
    • Flexible; readilyaccepts change; open to new ideas
    • Demonstratedability to apply business financial knowledge to support growth andto provide meaningful analytics

    • Strongcommunication skills; ability to effectively communicate withinternal and external teams
    • Ability to learnthe use of proprietary CRM tools for planning and forecasting salesgrowth
    • Proficient in Microsoft ApplicationsSuite (Word, Excel, PowerPpoint,Outlook)
    • Excellent organizational and projectmanagement skills, including the ability to execute multipleinitiatives at the same time
    • Proactive,self-directed, with the ability to structure a weekly schedule tobe successful
    • Understanding of marketingprinciples, product lines, ordering procedures and Sysco'scredit terms
