    Job title: senior i&c engineer

    Description

    We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in FEED (Front-End Engineering Design) and Detailed Design for onshore oil and gas projects.

    JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Perform instrumentation engineering tasks for the FEED and detailed engineering phases of oil & gas projects.
    • Develop and review instrumentation design deliverables, including instrument indexes, I/O lists, data sheets, instrument specifications and sizing, hook-up drawings, cable schedules, loop diagrams, control system architectures (DCS, PLC, ESD, F&G).
    • Ensure all engineering work is carried out in accordance with project specifications, international codes (IEC, ISA, API), and standards.
    • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for integrated design.
    • Interface with clients, vendors, and subcontractors for technical clarifications and approvals.
    • Participate in HAZOP, SIL, and other safety-related reviews and assessments.
    • Prepare material requisitions and technical bid evaluations for instrumentation equipment.
    • Support construction, commissioning, and pre-startup activities as required.

    KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelors Degree in Instrumentation/Electrical/Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
    • Minimum 8-12 years of experience in the oil & gas industry.
    • At least 5 years of experience in FEED and Detail Design for oil & gas projects.
    • Proficient in instrumentation design software (SPI/INtools, AutoCAD, Aveva E3D, etc.).
    • Familiar with ADNOC Engineering Standards and HSE practices.
    • Strong communication, coordination, and report writing skills.
    • Experience with international EPC companies or design consultants preferred.
