    Description
    • Provide immediate response tocustomer inquiries in accordance with servicestandards.
    • Provide technical support for customdevelopment, user defined functions, interfaces, reports, extracts,data migration scripts and conversions.
    • Provideadvice and best practices to Partners for technical areas such asnetworks, configurations, architecturesetc.
    • Provide technical support fortroubleshooting and performance analysis for reports, storedprocedures, interfaces, conversions, data migration scripts anduser defined functions.
    • Escalate Open(unresolved) problems in accordance with current policies andprocedures.
    • Production of training materialsfor technical courses such as system custom development orreporting.
    • Production of technicaldocumentation such as reference materials, installationinstructions, user guides, knowledge-base articles andhow-to's.
    • Continuously improvecustomer satisfaction by soliciting customer suggestions forproduct and service improvements and then escalating suchsuggestions to management.
    • Improve responsetime to customer inquiries by continuously improving communication,analytical, and learning skills.
    • Participate inon-site technical training ifrequired
    • Participate in on-site technicalimplementations if required
    • Participate in theon call 24 hour roster service
    • Assistance inresearching new development or report writing 3rd party productssuch as Crystal Reports.

    Experience AndQualifications

    • Knowledge of web oriented languages,including HTML, and Java script.
    • Experiencewith SQL, data analysis and databasemethodologies
    • Knowledge of programminglanguages – ideally Java orC++
    • Experience working in software not limitedto a Developer, Quality Engineer and/or SolutionsArchitect
    • Experience with data analysis anddatabase methodologies
    • Be able to design andwrite technical documents.
    • Well versed inInternet / Intranet concepts and MicrosoftIIS.
    • Experience within InterSystems products(Cache, Ensemble) highly desirable but notrequired
