What is your legacy going to be?

They say time is medicine; I now believe it's a myth. 

Today marks 8 years since my dad passed away and when I look at the legacy, he left behind I smile, and the sadness goes away.

I remember how he used to bring a smile on every person's face he met.

I try each day. There hasn't been a single day gone by, where I don't think of him or feel like I need to share something with him or wonder what we'd be doing together.

I realise I miss him terribly because I never missed him when he was alive. I never understood the importance of his presence and I know the impact of his absence now!

What his life taught me. His legacy! Rest in peace sweet dada. I dedicate this article in your honor.

What we think shape who we are;

What we think shape who we are and what we are capable of.

Passivity is acceptance of what happens, without active response or resistance.

Our mind carves thoughts.

Should we walk away with just the learning experience of trying or should we walk away with just the dream, or should we walk away with the experience of realizing our dreams?

Everything we go through prepares us for something greater and have the courage to say NO when you have to say NO.

And that can be to anything - our work clients, partners, friends etc

That's the biggest hurdle to cross and if we can be the wind that passes through these obstacles, we can move in so many directions

We all go through rocky roads of struggles in our lives. Things we never ever would have imagined. YET, when we come out the other side, we come out so much stronger, so much more resilient AND so much more at peace.

All those lessons we learn are so worth it. And the funny thing is, most of us wouldn't change a thing, would we?

Where we are, what we absorb within ourselves shape our actions and who we are.

When all our learning, actions and skills come together to help us shine - we become a visible. 

If we do not put into practice all that we gain from the universe. We become an invisible and simply fade away. 

What is your legacy going to be?

To be a visible one has to gain all the right skills and qualities.

This can be from any source. It could be books, people, social media, animals, nature and so on.

Some of us reach saturation points in our careers.

When burdened or heavy with our acquisition from our careers experiences we need to observe our thoughts, reflect, and share our learnings and successes to become light again. 

This brings about good in the longer run.

We must keep emptying our cup to be full again. Our learnings, our unwanted burdens, thoughts and the negative energies. This will help us to add on to our knowledge and wellbeing on we go! To absorb again.

They say "Every cloud has a silver lining". 

I believe our silver lining is formed by our own actions and hence we need to stop looking for someone else to be our silver lining!

Be your own silver lining! 

Give to receive!

Giving enables us to receive again. 

When we give back to nature, we become light and beautiful in heart again.

Our thoughts become our actions.

Our actions become our experiences.

Our desires become our goals.

Our goals become our thoughts. (Some people get stuck at this stage)

This is where purpose comes in!

Our purpose led to thoughtful actions.

Our thoughtful actions lead to experiences.

Our experiences become our learning.

Our learning become stepstones.

Our stepstones become the path to our destination that will lead us to achieving our Dream Career goals.

Few people easily give up in life, work, on people and some even do this on social media.

Human love has the power to move lives

Be your authentic self no matter how many people think low of you or misjudge you or think you're not good enough.

It's about what you want in life, how it contributes value to your life and how it helps the people around you.

I talk about you, and I talk about the people around you.

There should be a balance of both.

We can't grow alone. We use the world (Our immediate surrounding) and the people around it to help us grow.

We must do the things we want to do without causing harm or discomfort to the people, place and things around us. 

This creates a balance in our environment allows us to thrive wherever we are.

Being considerate of oneself and other's is the key to success in any environment

A man who becomes conscious of the responsibility he bears toward a human being who affectionately waits for him, or to an unfinished work, will never be able to throw away his life. He knows the "why" for his existence and will be able to bear almost any "how." --Victor Frankl

"More of us must take on the task of addressing our own individual fears first.

This happens when we understand our thoughts and what influences it.

Move from a conflict stage by gaining awareness of the long-standing limiting beliefs and cultural practices that no longer serve your growth.

 The universe has given us everything we need. We need to look in the right place.

We are living in a competitive world where all one thinks of is how to stand out of the competition.

But as an individual reconnecting with ourselves, our senses and actively listening to it.

We can discern what's right and wrong.

If we fine tune and develop our sensory multi-intelligence, we will experience a work life balance and attain satisfaction in life.

 The journey of self-discovery and helps us identify those obstacles that are in the way. To notice what is going on around us and collect that information and turn it into patterns, plans, goals and make sense of it.

Create your inner freedom. Discover your blind spots and get going.

I toast your success

You will eventually get everything and MORE you ever dreamed of. I promise. I have seen it always come true for those who never had a straight path.

But you must believe in yourself for this to happen.

Remember you are not alone. Reach out to mentor, a coach, a manager, or a friend.

Each one is us have a part to play in your journey to greatness.

We are a part of your legacy but you must choose us wisely!
