We are looking to recruit a competent
Medical Coder to assist us with coding medical documentation for insurance claims and for our databases.

Medical Coder role is responsible for reviewing coding of medical cases handling claims submission to payers and all revenue cycle billing tasks assigned.

The role is also responsible in ensuring the accuracy of the coding in patient health records

Job responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Extracting relevant information from patient records.
  • Liaising with physicians and other parties to clarify information.
  • Examining documents for missing information.
  • Assigning accurate codes to medical procedures and diagnoses.
  • Ensuring documents are grammatically correct and free from typing errors.
  • Performing chart audits.
  • Advising and training physicians and staff on medical coding.
  • Informing supervisor of issues with equipment and computer program.
  • Ensuring compliance with medical coding policies and guidelines.

Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Certified Coder with valid CPC or APA or AAPC Certificate.
  • Must have at least a minimum of
    2 years of work experience in Healthcare Industry in the UAE, with experience on the areas of insurance claims, preapproval, request, submission and resubmissions of claims.
  • Extensive knowledge of medical and dental terminologies.
  • Flexible with a positive attitude.
  • Can work with minimum supervision.
  • Willing to work in
    Baniyas, Abu Dhabi
