Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Facilities Management Manager to join our growing team.

In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our facilities, ensuring that they are safe, clean, and efficient.

You will work closely with a team of facilities professionals to develop and implement maintenance plans, sustainability, quality management, manage budgets, and negotiate contracts with vendors.

You will also be responsible for identifying and implementing cost-saving initiatives.


Responsibilities:


  • Develop and implement maintenance plans for all facilities
  • Responsible for the preparation and adherence to appropriate contract management plans and reports
  • Oversee the work of facilities staff, including custodians, maintenance technicians, and groundskeepers
  • Negotiate contracts with vendors for services such as janitorial, landscaping, and security
  • Identify and implement costsaving initiatives
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable safety and environmental regulations
  • Prepare and present reports on facilities performance
  • Manage projects, such as renovations or relocation
  • Report any incidents within the time frame as set in the escalation matrix.
  • Train subordinates in all required aspects of the technical and nontechnical services.
  • To manage excellent relationships with clients, our suppliers and other partners.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in facilities management, business administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 9 years of experience in facilities management, with a proven track record of success.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial role in the industry.
  • Strong understanding of facilities maintenance and operations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven ability to manage budgets and track expenses
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
