What We Do:

TLM International FZE is a Value-Added Distributor of IT Hardware and Wi-Fi Networking Technology established in 1997. Currently we're looking for a Business Development Manager Networking who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.


What We're Looking For:


RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the networking industry, including market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies to drive growth and achieve sales targets.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and industry influencers.
  • Lead the negotiation and closing of strategic partnerships and collaborations to expand the company's networking offerings.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams, including product management, marketing, and engineering, to drive the development and launch of new networking solutions.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer requirements, market trends, and competitive positioning.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive presentations, proposals, and business cases to prospective customers and partners.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of business development efforts and make datadriven recommendations for improvement.
  • Stay up to date with industry developments, emerging technologies, and best practices in networking.

KNOWLEDGE/QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:


  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred.
  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles within the networking industry.
  • Strong knowledge of networking technologies, protocols, and solutions.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities and close deals.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong negotiation and relationshipbuilding skills.
  • Resultsoriented mindset with a track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities to assess market trends and competitive positioning.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers, partners, and attend industry events.

FUNCTIONAL AND BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES:


  • A strong understanding of networking technologies, protocols, and infrastructure is essential. This includes knowledge of LAN/WAN technologies, routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs, wireless networks, and cloudbased networking solutions.
  • Proficiency in sales techniques, lead generation, and customer relationship management is vital. This includes prospecting, analysing complex problems and finding effective solutions, qualifying leads, negotiating contracts, and closing deals. The manager should be able to develop and execute business development plans to achieve sales targets and able to work under pressure to deliver desired outcomes.
  • Indepth knowledge of networking products and solutions is required. This includes understanding the features, benefits, and competitive advantages of different networking technologies.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes is important. This helps the manager anticipate market shifts, identify new business opportunities, and align networking strategies with industry developments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective interaction with customers, team members, and stakeholders. The manager should be able to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
  • The ability to think strategically and develop innovative approaches to business development is important. The manager should be able to identify new market segments, create valueadded solutions, and adapt strategies to changing market conditions.
