Description
For our sales office in Dubai (Jebel Ali) we are currently looking for aFinance & Admin Assistant
qualified in accounting/finance to prepare accurate VAT and Corporate tax reports and to assist in admin and accounting duties within our organization.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Verify and ensure all the transactions are properly documented and comply with regulations.
- Preparing accurate VAT & Corporate tax computations and ensuring timely submission of tax returns and processing VAT refunds for the organization.
- Stay up to date with tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
- Communicate with the Federal Tax Authority if required or to ensure compliance with regulations by forwarding required information or any queries raised by the FTA.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information for tax filings.
- Organizing and maintaining proper records of all transactions including sales, purchases, expenses etc., ensuring they are easily accessible for audits or inquiries.
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks and assist in budget tracking.
- Generate financial statements and reports for internal and external use.
- Support in monthend and yearend closing activities of respective organization as per accounting policies & procedures and IFRS.
- Monitor and follow up with customers to collect overdue balances.
- Assist in developing accounting software
- SAP Business One.
- Manage and organize administrative tasks to maintain an efficient office environment.
- Assist in drafting and proofreading correspondence, reports, and other documents.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure projectrelated tasks are completed on time.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of important records and information.
- Maintain and update filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Maintaining accurate and uptodate customer and supplier databases.
- Maintain office supplies and equipment, ensuring their proper functionality.
- Provide administrative support for various projects as assigned.
- Address client inquiries and provide timely and accurate responses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Ability to work independently and mange multi tasks simultaneously.
- Highly ethical, trustworthy, and strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Experience:
- 2+ years of experience in accounting and well knowledge of VAT and Corporate tax.
- Working knowledge of SAP Business One & Tally software.
- Experience in Chemical and F&B Trading will be an added advantage.
- Experience in office management software like MS Office (MS Excel and MS Word, specifically)
Language:
- English
Added Advantage:
- Registered with the FTA and holds a valid Tax agent license is advantage.
- Analyze financial data to identify potential tax savings and advise on tax planning strategies.
- Reporting on control deficiencies to management and making recommendations to mitigate risk and add value to the business process.
Job Types:

Pay:
AED3, AED6,000.00 per month

- UAE VAT and Corporate tax: 2 years (required)
License/Certification:
- Tax agent license (preferred)
