SUMMARY OF POSITION
The Chef De Partie coordinate activities of how food should be presented and prepared.

Monitor the quantity of food that is prepared to ensure quality standard, under the guidance of the Chef de Partie.

DUTIES & RESPONSABILITIES

  • To work in a quality control organization, adhering to policies and quality standards in all daily tasks
  • Maintain kitchen logs for food safety program and food products.
  • Ensure the quality of the food items and notify manager if a product does not meet specification.
  • Monitor stock of the kitchen supplies and food.
  • Follow all company and safety policies and procedures, report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions.
  • Ensure that all equipment is kept clean and kept in excellent working condition through personal inspection and by following the restaurant's preventative maintenance programs.
  • Inform F&B staff of 86'ed items and number of available menu specials.
  • Ensure that all products are ordered according to predetermined product specifications and received in correct unit count and condition and deliveries are performed in accordance with the restaurant's receiving policies and procedures.
  • Control food cost and usage by following proper requisition of products from storage areas, product storage procedures, standard recipes, and waste control procedures.
  • Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Follow kitchen policies, procedures, and service standards.
  • Actively share ideas, opinions, and suggestions in daily shift briefings
  • Oversee the training of kitchen personnel in safe operation of all kitchen equipment and utensils.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Be able to communicate and understand the predominant language of the restaurant trading area.
  • Minimum of 4 years previous experience working in a busy kitchen environment including European and French cuisine
  • Strong communication skills
  • To be able to communicate and to understand the predominant language of the restaurant trading area.
  • Must be able to communicate clearly with managers, kitchen, dining room employees and guests.
  • Show a passion for the industry and food. Excellent attention to details.
  • Must have the stamina to work for long hours in a standing position.

Salary:
AED4, AED5,000.00 per month
