We are looking for an exceptionally talented, motivated, and experienced
Optometry Training Officer to support the development and management of the EGMA training institute.

Design and teach optometry and optical dispensing courses for optometrists and opticians and help establish EGMA's first online training platform.


  • Teaching optometry courses for opticians and optometrists.
  • Assist the training manager in establishing an online training platform, courses, and structure.
  • Content creation of online and in person training material.
  • Design exercises and training in optometry and opticianry sciences domains to reflect the latest developments in the field.
  • Assist in advancing optometry, vision science, and medical imaging in the region by designing and delivering continuing education programs and projects.
  • Interact with different colleges, universities, and instructors.
  • Manage training events.

Skills:

Language: Excellent communication skills in both English and Arabic.

  • Interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • A good team player with a solid ability to work harmoniously with colleagues and students of all cultures, build a positive spirit, and always look for a better way.
  • High standard and significant record of institutional, professional, and community service leadership in research.
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to travel

Qualifications

Degree: An Optometry degree from a reputed university with work/training experience in Optometry or a closely related field is a plus.


Salary:
AED9, AED12,000.00 per month
