Description

We are seeking a creative and enthusiastic Fashion/Production intern to join our team.

It's an opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the fashion industry, particularly in the manufacturing and production phases of apparel.

You will assist in reorganizing the production process including preparing technical sheets, placing orders, maintain stock, and working on some newdesigns.

Responsibilities:

Production Assistance: Assisting with the coordination of production processes, including liaising with manufacturers, and fabric suppliers.

Technical Packs: Preparing technical packs and spec sheets.

Sample Management: Tracking and managing samples from suppliers.

Quality Control: Helping to inspect finished products to ensure they meet the quality standards set by the brand.

Inventory Management: Assisting in managing inventory levels, organizing stock, and preparing products for distribution.

Documentation: Prepare and maintain production documentation, such as cost sheets, production schedules, and status reports.

Supplier Coordination: Communicating with suppliers to ensure materials are delivered on time and specifications are met.

Research: Conducting research on industry trends, new technologies, or sustainable practices that can be applied in production.

Design:Work on designing as and when required

Qualifications:

A diploma/degree in Fashion Design or a related field. Preference to those currently pursuing a fashion degree/diploma.
Strong creative and artistic skills with a passion for fashion.
Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or similar programs.
Knowledge of garment construction techniques and fabric properties.
Detailoriented with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment.

Duration and Schedule:
This is a full-time paid internship position for one month. The internship will start on 25th April 2024 and end on 24th May 2024. This period can be extended if both parties agreed to.

Location:
Our storage facility is located in Al Quoz.
