A Quality Controller in Car Maintenance and Driver Grooming plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of vehicles and drivers within a transportation or automotive service company.

This position involves overseeing the maintenance, cleanliness, and overall condition of vehicles, as well as ensuring the professionalism and grooming standards of drivers.

The Quality Controller collaborates closely with maintenance teams, drivers, and management to maintain high standards of vehicle performance, safety, and customer satisfaction.


  • Vehicle Inspection and Maintenance:
  • Conduct regular inspections of vehicles to assess their condition, cleanliness, and compliance with safety standards.
  • Coordinate with maintenance technicians and service providers to schedule and perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
  • Monitor vehicle performance metrics, including fuel efficiency, mileage, and maintenance records, to identify trends and potential issues.
  • Implement preventive maintenance programs and ensure adherence to manufacturer's guidelines and service schedules.
  • Quality Assurance in Driver Grooming:
  • Establish grooming standards and guidelines for drivers, including dress code, personal hygiene, and professional appearance.
  • Conduct periodic inspections of drivers' appearance and grooming to ensure compliance with established standards.
  • Provide feedback and coaching to drivers on grooming standards and professionalism, as needed.
  • Address groomingrelated issues or concerns promptly and appropriately to maintain a positive brand image and customer satisfaction.
  • Compliance and Safety:
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies related to vehicle maintenance, cleanliness, and driver grooming.
  • Maintain documentation of vehicle inspections, maintenance records, and driver grooming assessments for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Conduct safety training and awareness programs for drivers on topics such as defensive driving, vehicle maintenance, and grooming standards.
  • Investigate and address safety incidents, accidents, or violations promptly, implementing corrective actions and preventive measures as needed.
  • Customer Satisfaction:
  • Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer feedback, complaints, or concerns related to vehicle condition, cleanliness, or driver professionalism.
  • Monitor customer satisfaction metrics and feedback related to vehicle maintenance and driver grooming to identify areas for improvement.
  • Implement initiatives to enhance the overall customer experience and satisfaction with vehicle quality and driver professionalism.
  • Team Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with maintenance technicians, fleet managers, and driver supervisors to coordinate activities and ensure alignment on quality standards and objectives.
  • Communicate qualityrelated information, findings, and recommendations to management and stakeholders in a clear, concise manner.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement within the maintenance and driver grooming teams.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in automotive technology, fleet management, or a related field is desirable.
  • Proven experience in automotive maintenance, fleet management, or a related role within the transportation industry.
  • Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance practices, safety regulations, and grooming standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with drivers, maintenance personnel, and management.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify issues, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment.
  • Commitment to customer satisfaction, safety, and continuous improvement in vehicle maintenance and driver grooming practices.

Salary:
Up to AED5,000.00 per month
